Ficha do Livro:

Título: A Sereia

Autora: Kiera Cass

Editora: Seguinte

Título Original: The Siren

Resenha:

Review:

In a wreck in about 1930 in the town Kahlen was, she eventually drowned and in a desperate plea that she would do anything to survive, Water ends up listening to her, and saying that she would save her life if she agreed to make a mermaid for 100 years, then have your normal life back. So she agrees to this condition.
After 80 years of this life, Kahlen barely remembers his mortal life. But she is not an ordinary mermaid, for mermaids have to sing once a year to cause a shipwreck, to feed Water, but Kahlen does not like to fulfill this tradition, and after doing so, always researches on people's lives who died in the "accident" in the city library.
So one day in the library doing research on a boy from the last shipwreck, she meets Akinli, but she can not talk to him because humans when they hear the sirens' voice (singing or speaking normally) have an irresistible urge to swallow water until you drown. What will she do with it, if the mermaids can not live with the same human, but she wants to, or rather needs to be with him

What I found: The book is very cool, light, passionate and I recommend a lot for those who love mermaids or find the story interesting, because it tells a lot about mermaids, and as I have always loved, I found it very cool. In general, I really enjoy Kiera's writing dynamics (not that it's different from the ones I read generally, but why she has a very engaging touch in writing it) and I think everyone should give this book a try (and this edition, as it comes with brand-page cover, and the back has a photo is BEAUTIFUL)!
