Auggie é um garotinho que vive com a seus pais e com sua irmã, Via. Mas ele não é um garoto "normal", pelo menos não para praticamente todas as crianças com quem ele já teve a oportunidade de conviver. Auggie tem muitas cicatrizes no rosto, resultado de todas as cirurgias que precisou para sobreviver; sem elas ele não poderia ouvir, ver e falar. Ele passou a vida inteira em casa sem ir para a escola (ele foi ensinado pela mãe), mas chega a hora de ele ir para a escola. Ele precisa ir "conhecer' e conviver com o mundo.
Mas antes de chegar o primeiro dia, o diretor de sua futura escola chama ele e alguns alunos que já estudam lá hã algum tempo, para poderem mostrar a escola para Auggie, e para ele já ter alguns "amigos" antes das aulas começarem. Vai ser um desafio para ele entrar em uma escola (sendo que ele nunca tinha entrado antes), e ainda ter que suportar o bullying que com certeza irão fazer com ele. A caminhada dele vai marcar a todos, na escola, na família, e nós leitores.
Esse livro é super fofinho, tem muitas partes dignas de post-it, tem ensinamentos muito fofos. Estava com saudade de ler livros com protagonistas crianças, é um livro leve, mas tem algumas bem partes tristes.
O livro é dividido em várias partes, cada parte é narrado por um personagem, expondo os pensamentos deles, e isso é muito marcante. Mostra os dois lados da história, e faz a gente pensar sobre isso, ao contrário da maioria dos livros que expõe os problemas só de um personagem.
Em fim, o livro é bem fofo, é inocente, mostra que cada detalhe de um momento é importante, fala sobre uma coisa séria (bullying) mas é tratado de forma leve, que nos faz pensar no problema sem jogá-lo na nossa cara. Recomento a todos, pois esse livro é para todas as idades. Eu também já assisti o filme na pré-estreia, o livro é tão marcante quanto o livro, eu chorei em várias partes e também é para todas as faixas-etárias.

This book is super cute, has many parts worthy of post-it, has very cute teachings. I was longing to read books with children protagonists, it's a light book, but it has some very sad parts.
The book is divided into several parts, each part is narrated by a character, exposing their thoughts, and this is very striking. It shows both sides of the story, and makes you think about it, unlike most books that expose the problems of only one character.
Finally, the book is very cute, is innocent, shows that every detail of a moment is important, talks about something serious (bullying) but is treated lightly, which makes us think of the problem without throwing it in our face . I recommend it to everyone, because this book is for all ages. I've also watched the movie on the preview, the book is as striking as the book, I cried in several parts and is also for all age groups.
